Shootin' at Mantua

We went shootin at Mantua and I tried Ray's 30 o6. It has a nice little kick to it. But the best part is Logan dancin around in the background of the video until I shoot. Good times :)

I'm Gonna Try This Thing Again

Here is my attempt at keeping this blog updated . . . We'll see how long it lasts. I don't even think I remember how to add picutres . . .

Wait, still got it. So here we go again and I will try to update frequently . . . After I post a lot of postings just to catch up ;)

Klyde's Graduation

Ray and I thought that it would be a good idea to put Klyde in obedience training while he was still a small puppy. Since he's going to get so large we knew that he needed to be well trained so that he won't be out of control when he gets bigger. Well 6 weeks of puppy classes and lots of treats later, Klyde passed the test and graduated. While I normally don't condone animals wearing people clothes, I thought the cap was pretty darn cute :)

Brik and Klyde

Ray informed me the other night that I needed to take a picture of our puppy so that we could watch him grow. He's almost as big as Brik, who weighs in at a whopping 102 lbs. I'm not sure how much Klyde weighs right now, but he's almost as tall as Brik and he's only 4 1/2 months old . . . My dog's gonna get huge!

Park City

We recently went to Park City for a weekend getaway and for a chance to raid the outlet's for some back-to-school clothes for Logan. On the way up, Logan asked if we could stop by the "Doughnut Factory" (commonly known as Krispy Kream) we were on vacation so we agreed. This is Logan giving us the 411 on the doughnut making process. We now know all we need to know about making doughnuts. He's obsessed.

Logan giving us a tour of "The Doughnut Factory"

We were lucky enough to have a blow-up play ground right below the condos we stayed at. Logan loved playing there and since the swimming pool was closed for our stay, this was a perfect distraction. He spent half of the day playing on the different slides and having fun.

Soccer Souvenir

This summer I convinced Ray to join a soccer league that was started up by my co-workers. We've had a fun time playing but Ray hurt his knee and had to quit in the middle of the season. I continued to play and I hope improve, but I also came to the conclusion that sports may not be the best thing for me since I bruise easily. I have received some nasty looking bruises but I've been proud of every single one, and yes I know this makes me a nerd :) The funnest little reward for my incredibly awesome blocking skills (totally exaggerating btw) is on the pic below . . .yes I took a picture of it, and yes I know I'm a nerd :) Look closely and see if you can recognize the pattern on the side of my knee

Little Valley Days

It's tradition. Every year we go celebrate Little Valley Days in Mantua and watch the parade and then later watch the fireworks over the lake. This year we watched the fireworks from my mom and dad's backyard but we still had a fun time.
